It started with a lump in my throat and a stack of unfinished books.

I was sitting on the floor, surrounded by children’s stories that almost said what I needed them to—but not quite. My child was struggling. I was too. And in that quiet moment, I realized something:

We needed more books that understood us.

More stories where big feelings were okay.
More words for what we carry when no one’s looking.
More reminders that we're still growing—even when we feel stuck.

That’s how HeartBlossom began. Not from a business plan or marketing brainstorm, but from a deep need—for softness, for honesty, for connection.
