๐ŸŒผ The Labor No One Sees (But Still Counts)

Labor Day often evokes images of long weekends and backyard cookouts.
But for some of us, it also brings a quiet ache.

Because not all labor comes with a paycheck.
Not all effort comes with applause.
Not every kind of work is seen.

Some labor looks like:

  • Packing lunches before the sun rises

  • Remembering the name of every stuffed animal

  • Holding space for a meltdown while holding your own breath

  • Showing up again. And again. And again.

This kind of labor rarely makes headlines.
But it matters.
It fosters safety, trust, and a sense of belonging.
It grows people.

So today, if no one else says it:

Thank you for the work you do.
For the love you give in a thousand unnoticed ways.
For the steady care that makes someoneโ€™s world feel safe.

You might not get a parade.
But you deserve a moment.
A breath.
A reminder that this counts too.

With love,
